Any volunteer contributor can start a translation, as long as they create an account and fill in the following details: surname, first name, affiliation and e-mail address. There is no charge for this. A contributor may submit as many translation projects as he or she wishes (one per article).
All articles already published (CC BY licence) on the Publication site, and for which no translation project has yet been initiated.
Contributors may translate into the language of their choice (Latin alphabet language if not already translated).
The article is pre-published using the MateCat computer-assisted translation (CAT) tool, which is an open-access tool.
Publication of the translations (PDF and HTML formats) under licence CC BY licence on the journal's website.
All translations will be moderated at text level by the Publisher's editorial team.
- Scientific moderation may be requested from experts.
- Content moderation will be carried out by the journal's editorial team.
- All translations will be submitted to the author of the translated text for validation.
The Editor or the author may contact the contributor via the e-mail address provided when the account was created.
Any volunteer contributor can return to their translation. They must be sure to save their translation using the [Save] button and can log out. When you log in to edit the project, you will be directed to a dashboard containing all the translations you have initiated.
You can ask the Editor to remove the translation by sending a message to the Contact email address.
All contributors will be considered as authors of the translation, provided that they carry out a significant amount of post-editing (not just proofreading and correcting a few spelling mistakes).
- He/she will retain all copyright on the translation.
- Their name and email address will be displayed on the PDF version as well as on the web version of the translation.
- If a contributor does not wish his/her name to be displayed, he/she should inform the Editor via the Contact email address.
All translations must be distributed under the CC BY licence, which allows... The translation cannot be submitted if the contributor has not ticked the box validating the distribution licence.
